I actually very much enjoyed this book. It was very well written and you could very easily get into the story. I have been searching for a good novel about the fae or something of the like, and while this one isn’t as good as I was hoping it would be, its still pretty darn good.
I’m also very surprised with how this novel seems to be playing out. Not in a bad way but you can tell that these are going to be very quick reads. Which to me isn’t a bad thing, as those are usually the kinds of books that I very much like. I find that when a book or a series is too long, the farther I get into them the harder it is to actually pick them up. I read a lot for entertainment and enjoy chewing through a book in a few hours or less.
This book really has everything that I needed of it. I just wish that there was a tiny bit more of a conflict in it, something to really get the blood pumping. Don’t get me wrong there is a ton of action in it, but that’s not the kind of conflict that I’m searching for in a novel.
